The Classic Ceremony is the full thing, done properly. I write a beautiful ceremony shaped around you, deliver it warmly, run the whole day's ceremony moment from arrival to send-off, and bring a PA if you need one. Nothing about it is rushed and nothing about it is generic. It's the package most couples land on once they've thought about what they actually want from the ceremony.
I arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time. That gives me time to set up the PA, place the signing table, sync with the photographer about timing, talk through any walk-in cues with your wedding party, and quietly orient your early-arriving guests. By the time the ceremony starts I know where everyone is and what the order looks like.
The ceremony itself runs 20 to 30 minutes. I welcome everyone, do the housekeeping (phones, photos, where the reception is heading), walk through what's going to happen, then we move into the ceremony proper: your story, vows, ring exchange, signing, the legal bits, and the announcement. I always say to plan a full hour for the ceremony slot in your schedule though, because the signing and the first round of photos eat into the time more than you'd think.
After the announcement I stay back for a bit. Sometimes that's photo support, sometimes it's helping the bridal party coordinate transport to the reception, sometimes it's just being a calm presence while everyone hugs everyone. I usually leave unnoticed once guests are on their way. You won't have to manage me out the door.
The Classic Ceremony is the package most couples actually want when they sit down and think about what they need on the day. Beautifully written, warmly run, PA included, with everything legal sorted.
I'm based on the Tweed Coast, and the Classic Ceremony's included travel zone covers the Gold Coast, the Tweed Coast, Byron Bay, the Northern Rivers, and the Gold Coast Hinterland (Mount Tamborine, Springbrook, Currumbin Valley, Tallebudgera Valley). I do a lot of Classic Ceremonies in Brisbane too — there's a small travel fee for Brisbane and further north, quoted upfront.
Australian law requires the marriage to be registered with Births, Deaths and Marriages within 14 days of the ceremony. I handle the lodgement and let you know once it's registered, usually 2-3 weeks after the day. If you want the official BDM marriage certificate (the one used for visas and legal name changes), I can lodge that application for you too. It's a small extra fee plus the government cost. You can also apply yourself online if you'd rather.
Bilingual option
If your guest list includes Spanish-speaking family, I'm a native Spanish speaker (born in Mexico) and run the Classic Ceremony in English, Spanish, or any blend of the two. Small Spanish moments inside an English ceremony are free; a fully bilingual line-by-line delivery is +$100 on Classic. More on the Spanish wedding celebrant page.

Send me your date, venue and rough guest count. I'll confirm I'm available and we'll have a chat about what you want the ceremony to feel like.

At least one calendar month before the day we complete your Notice of Intended Marriage. I write the ceremony around your story and send a draft for you to revise. You write your personal vows with my help.

I arrive at least 30 minutes before to set up the PA and settle your guests. Ceremony runs 20-30 minutes. I stay back for announcements and photos, then quietly head off. Marriage registered within 2-3 weeks.
The ceremony itself usually runs 20 to 30 minutes. I always say to plan a full hour for it though, which gives a comfortable buffer for your guests to settle in beforehand and for the signing, photos and announcements afterwards. I block out an hour of my own time around the ceremony slot for the same reason.
Yes. If you'd like one (or your venue requires one) I bring my own PA, set it up before guests arrive, and pack it down after. Beach ceremonies, outdoor venues with more than 30 guests, and anywhere with wind or background noise really need one. No extra charge.
$950. Local travel is included from anywhere on the Gold Coast through the Tweed Coast and into Byron Bay and the Gold Coast Hinterland. For Brisbane, the Northern Rivers or beyond, travel is $1 per kilometre. No hidden fees.
I send you a vow-writing guide and prompt sheet a few weeks before the day, then we talk through what you've drafted. If you'd like me to refine or rewrite, I happily do. Plenty of couples want their personal vows to feel like theirs but read well out loud, and that's what I help with.
The Classic Ceremony is the full ceremony, beautifully written, delivered warmly, with light customisation around your story. The Custom Ceremony (from $1,250) starts with a 6-8 weeks-out story session where I learn how you met and the details that matter, then I write a fully personalised love story that gets woven into the ceremony. Plus your ring vows. Classic is the standard. Custom is the deep-dive version.
Yes, often. I do plenty of Classic Ceremonies in Brisbane and the surrounds. There's a small travel fee for Brisbane (quoted upfront based on your venue), but it's a regular part of my coverage area, not a special occasion.
Send me your date, venue and rough guest count. I'll come back with availability and the next steps.
